Our discs feature a combination of redesigned fiber, resin and silicon carbide abrasive mineral that form a thick and open mesh. Thanks to the resource-like behavior of the fibers, these discs are able to follow the contours of the workpiece with greater precision, achieving a larger contact area with faster removal rates. They conform to the corrugations of the weld beads to polish welds without removing them, and will also allow you to access hard-to-reach areas without damaging the substrate. Silicon carbide cuts aggressively to leave a fine finish. Unwanted burrs, stains and contaminants are effectively removed while maintaining workpiece geometry; All of this reduces the need for repeat work and helps increase productivity. Additionally, the mesh holes allow chips to escape, preventing clogging of the abrasive. To ensure a consistent cut over the life of the abrasive, the disc's reinforcing resin bond gradually breaks down with use to reveal new fibers and a super-sharp silicon carbide abrasive. High-strength fiber resists fragmentation and performs well on edges. These discs also offer low vibration and spark, high speed and long life.
